The RSS02T combines Yamaha’s vintage café-racer-inspired styling with modern construction and electronics. Its chambered mahogany body and maple top provide excellent resonance while keeping the guitar comfortable and balanced. The carbon-reinforced mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, and stainless-steel frets offer smooth, reliable playability.

A pair of Yamaha VP5 P-90-style pickups delivers everything from warm, full cleans to gritty blues and powerful overdriven tones. The five-position selector provides an expanded range of sounds, while the push/pull Focus Switch adds a passive boost for extra punch and presence.
